Mutamba Abudi a passionate and experienced web developer. His main areas of focus and expertise are; building websites, managing website content, website training & support, maintaining & updating websites, installing website plugins & themes, SEO: Search Engine Optimization.
As a web developer, his main areas of focus and expertise are; building websites, web applications and plug-ins. In addition to coding and working with content management systems such as, WordPress, he is also skilled in programming languages; JavaScript and PHP.
Besides his freelancer work, Abudi works part time for Ablestate Creatives Limited, a social enterprise that equips young people across East Africa with practical digital skills, hands-on training and the career support to put them to work.
He is the current lead of WordPress Kampala meetup which a local community group of web designers, developers, and tech enthusiast who use and learn about WordPress.
As a web developer, he has worked with NGOs, tech conferences & community events, tourism companies, arts organizations, event organizers, educators and artists. He has also taught a number of free workshops to individuals and community programs such as; Wordcamp kampala, GDG cloud kampala DevFest, Ablestate Creatives Limited, Imagination Circle, Collective Glow, Authentic Voices Africa (AVA), Breakfast Jam, Bakumpe, Theelephant home, Redsea sports academy and many others
